The Barcelona Metropolitan Area Victimization Survey (EVAMB) is an annual study whose main objective is to collect information on the population’s exposure to everyday manifestations of crime and on the level of security in neighborhoods and in metropolitan municipalities. The monographic report on victimization and safety in public transport analyzes the prevalence and characteristics of victimizations that occur at public transport stops, stations and vehicles, the profile of the victims, the time of events, as well as the perception of safety during travel in this mode of transport.
