The Diagnóstico 2022 report, The situation of homelessness in Barcelona, Evolution and relationship with the labor market updates the statistical series generated by the Red de Atención a las Personas Sin Hogar (XAPSLL) that show an increase in the number of people sleeping in the street in the city and an even more pronounced increase in the number of places available in residential and housing projects of social entities and municipal social services.
It also incorporates an analysis of the relationship between homelessness and the labor market based on the quantitative exploitation of the data of a survey conducted on people residing in the facilities of the Municipal Program for Homeless Persons in the year 2021 and a qualitative work which was carried out during 2022 to guide the accompanying policies that promote the entities and the municipal administration.
