The Jugatecambientals project is an environmental education intervention based on the dynamization of natural areas, within the “Aprenem a la xarxa” program, promoted and coordinated by the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB), that now faces its 10th edition. This service takes place at the metropolitan parks and beaches through activities and programmings revolving around the highlighting of these natural areas and their contribution to the environmental and social improvement of its surroundings. Following an AMB request, an evaluation process is designed with two main goals:

• Evaluate the proper functioning of the project and the progress in achieving its goals
• Participatory building of proposals for the project improvent

Following a qualitative and participatory approach, the evaluation has encouraged all the actors and agents involved in the project to contribute to the Jugatecambientals improvement. The information obtained has allowed to asses the project evolution and its current state, identifying a series of outstanding elements, strengths and weaknesses, as well as to formulate a specific set of 22 improvment proposals.
