Covid-19 and childhood in Barcelona: impacts on the rights of children and adolescents and municipal responses

The covid-19 virus does not significantly affect children and adolescents, on the other hand, the measures taken to contain the contagion do. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 7 children’s rights of particular relevance that have been affected: the right to a dignified life, the right to education, the right to health, the right to family, the right to be protected from any form of abuse or violence, the right to receive adequate information and the right to play, rest and leisure.
